Start with a concrete input
Decide whether you need interactive conversation, a research finding or structured output. Those are different contracts and should have different acceptance criteria.
Choose the appropriate surface
Use the GoCux conversation and research surfaces for their documented purposes. Do not assume that a similarly named third-party Responses API is wire-compatible with GOCUX Gateway.
Review the output
Evaluate the answer against the original request. Separate a helpful explanation from evidence that an external task has actually completed.
A practical starting point
Start with a bounded GoCux conversation. These steps describe the GoCux workflow and its permission boundaries.
- State the outcome you need and the context the assistant may use. Add source material when the question depends on information that is not already available in the conversation.
- Review the answer and any request to use a tool. Normal web chat routes through GOCUX Gateway; an optional cloud worker is a separate capability.
- Move durable research, recurring monitoring or a shareable artifact into its dedicated workspace surface when the task calls for it. Confirm the result before using it elsewhere.
What to verify
Evaluate the answer against the original request. Separate a helpful explanation from evidence that an external task has actually completed.
Bring this workflow into your workspace.
Set the scope. Review the evidence. Approve the steps that need it.
